AFTER SERVICE
There is a tradition at St. John’s to gather in the Parish Hall after Sunday morning worship for a chat with old friends and new acquaintances over a cup of coffee and a snack. Special effort is taken to provide an environment that is friendly and welcoming. This is an unstructured time that has proven to be an effective avenue for creating community.
CHURCH CALENDAR EVENTS
Social occasions are organized primarily around the Church Calendar for the celebration of principle seasons and holy days; for example but not limited to, greening of the church for Christmas, cooking pancakes on the Tuesday before Lent, Easter Brunch, and sharing a pot luck dinner at Pentecost.
PARISH LIFE TEAM
The Parish Life Team works together to create opportunities for St John’s to work and play together and to be an avenue of Godly service and ministry to one another, the church and greater community.
